JME FURNITURE Warranty Terms

1. Warranty Period & Coverage

Warranty Period:
All products are covered by a 1-year warranty commencing from the date of delivery. Mattresses carry a 7-year warranty. Exceptions apply to sample products, discounted defective items, and clearance goods, which are covered by a 6-month warranty (see Section 4).

Coverage Scope:
This warranty covers functional defects arising from material or manufacturing flaws, including but not limited to: structural cracks, hardware component failures, and surface coating peeling.

Exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., natural fabric fading, leather texture changes).
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications, or improper use contrary to operating instructions.
- Products used for commercial purposes, display samples, second-hand goods, defective items, or refurbished products.
- Damage resulting from extreme environments (e.g., outdoor use, abnormal temperature/humidity, prolonged sun exposure) or force majeure (e.g., fire, flooding).

2. Warranty Claim Process

① Notification Deadline:
Customers must contact JME Customer Service within 7 calendar days of discovering a defect.

② Required Documentation:
- Proof of purchase (including order number and date).
- Customer name, delivery address, and contact details.
- Product model, defect description, and photo/video evidence.

③ Evaluation Procedure:
- Customer service will confirm acceptance within 24 hours and arrange a technical assessment.
- Products may need to be sent to an authorized inspection center or assessed by an on-site technician.

3. Remedial Measures

Available Options:
- Repair: Defects will be rectified using original manufacturer parts (priority solution).
- Replacement: A new product of the same model or equivalent value will be provided.
- Refund/Voucher: Applicable if repair is unfeasible or the model is discontinued (original product must be returned).

Partial Compensation:
If customers choose to retain products with minor defects, a partial refund may be offered based on the severity and nature of the defect, subject to mutual agreement.

4. Additional Terms

- Unauthorized repairs or modifications by non-JME technicians will void this warranty (also listed in Exclusions above).
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. It becomes void upon resale of the product.
- Damage caused by misuse, inadequate care/maintenance, commercial use, or improper transportation is excluded.
- Sample products, discounted defective items, and clearance goods are covered by a 6-month warranty.
