Warranty
JME Furniture provides a one-year warranty for all products sold in Australia, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty covers any manufacturing or material defects that are not a result of normal wear and tear or natural characteristics of the material used. However, the warranty does not cover products used for commercial purposes, and it does not apply to products sold as seconds, display pieces, repaired products, or products that have a defect.
In the event of a defect, you must contact JME Furniture customer service within 7 to 14 days of its occurrence. To make a claim, you need to provide your name, delivery address, phone number, product details, and a description of the defect.
If the product you receive has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it had they known about it, is unsafe, significantly different from the sample or description, or does not perform the function we said it would or that you asked for, you are entitled to a refund, store credit or replacement. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
Where a refund, store credit, or replacement is to be provided under the terms of this warranty, we may, to the extent permitted under the Law, require the return of the Product to us before refunding or replacing it.
Please note that this warranty is in addition to your other rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and the right to compensation for any other foreseeable loss or damage. The warranty also does not cover products that have been modified, misused, abused, tampered with, used outdoors, or subjected to extreme heat or cold. If the product has been repaired or serviced by someone other than an approved JME Furniture service provider, or if it has not been used or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, the warranty will not apply.
To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase. Please note that this warranty is not transferable, and subsequent purchasers buy the product "as is," without any warranty protection.
